Evergreen Chorale staff biographies
|
Maggie Glass, Executive Director
Maggie is a graduate from the University of Denver with a bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts. She has spent the last ten years working and acting with various performing arts organizations throughout Colorado. A transplant from the Midwest, Maggie loves living in Colorado and is very passionate about the arts. She spends her free time singing and dancing with her husband and twin toddlers. On stage or behind the scenes, Maggie is at home in the theater.

Christine Gaudreau , Artistic Director
Christine was born and raised in Europe, where she studied dance and voice. Following a move to San Diego, she received a B.M in voice performance and music history and an M.M. in choral conducting. Since then Christine has conducted choral and also orchestral music in California, Italy, North Carolina and since 2002 in Colorado.
Recent projects include collaborations with Altezza Chamber Chorale and Evergreen Chamber Orchestra and study at the International Bach Festival with Helmuth Rilling.
During the 2010/2011 season Christine will serve also as Chorus Master for Jefferson Symphony. She loves being at home in Evergreen, where she lives with her husband John and her two children Max and Annika.

Ellen DeJonge, Principal Accompanist
This is Ellen DeJonge’s fifth season with the chorale. After many years of public school teaching, she graduated summa cum laude with an M.A. in Music Therapy from Regis University, and worked with music therapy clients in facilities throughout Denver. She has sung in several chorale groups in the area, and has accompanied vocalists, instrumentalists, and church choirs in Colorado, Michigan and California. She is currently teaching private piano at her studio in Evergreen. She and husband Hank enjoy spending time with their children and 8 grandchildren who all live in the Denver area.”

Lara Coffey, Administrative Manager
Lara has been a member of the Chorale since 2000. She has also served three years on the board as secretary. She is a stay-at-home mom for her son, Spencer, where every day is a new adventure. Before that, she taught kindergarten in Jeffco Public Schools for 7 years.
