Christine Gaudreau

Artistic Director
Christine is beginning her 4th season as Artistic and Musical Director of the Evergreen Chorale this summer. Her energy and vision have enabled the Chorale to expand in terms of membership and artistic reach, enhancing the quality of its musical productions and establishing partnerships with such noted groups as the Jefferson Symphony Orchestra, Colcannon, The Queen City Jazz Band, Fiesta Colorado and others. Collaborations for the upcoming season include Denver Brass, Jefferson Symphony and Rocky Mountain Brass Works. Christine was born and raised in Germany, where she studied voice and dance. Following a move to California she received degrees in voice performance, music education and music history and a Master's in Conducting. Since then Christine has conducted choral and also orchestral music in California, Italy, North Carolina and, since 2002 Colorado, including school, church, theater and concert music. Christine loves her many varied opportunities as Artistic Director of one of largest community choruses in Colorado and is grateful to her fellow staff members and to the many great singers and actors that pass through this wonderful organization.

Susan Kramer

Executive Director
Susan Kramer has been executive director since August 2012, and joined the Chorale as business manager in December 2011. She brings a wealth of experience working with non-profits, including several years managing International Visitor programs and writing grant proposals at the Academy for Educational Development in Washington, D.C. Susan has served on the board of directors of the Evergreen Hurricanes Swim Team, and volunteers for other organizations that her family is involved in. She is excited to devote her talents to expanding the Chorale's vibrant role in the Evergreen community.

Lori Frease

Administrative Coordinator
Lori joined the Chorale staff in February 2013. She brings a variety of experience gleaned through her years working as director of Children's Ministries for Rockland Community Church and an administrator for Mean Street Ministry. Lori also currently serves as the director of development for Evergreen Christian Outreach. She is thrilled to be sharing her talents with the Chorale, and working in our community.

Ellen DeJonge

Accompanist - Concerts
This is Ellen DeJonge’s sixth season with the chorale. After many years of public school teaching, she graduated summa cum laude with an M.A. in Music Therapy from Regis University, and worked with music therapy clients in facilities throughout Denver. She has sung in several chorale groups in the area, and has accompanied vocalists, instrumentalists, and church choirs in Colorado, Michigan and California. She is currently teaching private piano at her studio in Evergreen. She and husband Hank enjoy spending time with their children and 8 grandchildren who all live in the Denver area.”

D.J. Himstedt

Accompanist - Musical Theater
D.J. has been singing with the Chorale for over four years, as well as serving on the Board and as an accompanist. His most recent stage role was that of Richard Henry Lee in 1776, and he has also appeared as Max Detweiler in The Sound of Music, and Balthazar in Amahl and the Night Visitors. He also accompanies the Evergreen High School choirs and musical productions, and has worked with StageDoor Theatre in Conifer. D.J. somehow manages to find time to earn a living as a private investigator, an attorney, and an instructor for Colorado State University's Fire and Emergency Services Administration program.
