About Evergreen Chorale
Welcome to the Evergreen Chorale! We are dedicated to providing quality musical performances for the mountain community west of Denver.
In January, 1972, the Canyon Courier ran a story inviting people who enjoyed singing to get together for an informal singing session. The small group that assembled around the large piano at Ruth and Roy Seeber's home became the founding members of the Evergreen Chorale.
The Evergreen Chorale is now a registered non-profit [501(c) (3)] organization with over 80 voices composed of amateur singers from Evergreen and surrounding communities. We have been continually committed to providing high caliber musical entertainment.

The Chorale presents two chorale concerts and two musical theatrical productions each year at Center/Stage. Concerts consist of serious and/or light music and are performed in December and May. Concert offerings have included Carmina Burana by Carl Orff, The Brahm's Requiem and selections from the Fred Waring's radio hour. Stage productions are performed in October and February. Productions by the Evergreen Chorale have included "Man of La Mancha," "Guys and Dolls," "Quilters," "Godspell," and "The King and I."
In 2002, the Evergreen Chorale founded the Dandy Lion Theatre Group as a way to share musical theater with young folks in the mountain area. It is the Chorale's hope that this venture into the world of children's theater grows and flourishes as the troupe of performers takes the show on the road to schools and other venues.
